Born in Cairo, Egypt in 1952, Dr. Mohamed M. Salem, M.D. emigrated to the United States of America after receiving his medical license in Egypt in the late 1970's. Driven by a propensity to aid the poor, treat the sick and help the suffering, Dr. Mohamed Salem was adamant that America would not only become his new home where he could practice medicine but also a new home where he could establish a prosperous family. As a result, Dr. Salem built an entire medical practice and state-of-the-art medical facility and also went on to become Chief of Staff of Salem Hospital for several years, executive board member of The Arc in Salem for many years and a voice for the sick throughout his life.
At his core, Dr. Mohamed M. Salem not only believed, but became known for his compassion. His bed-side manner won over the hearts of countless patients and he remained firmly committed to the ideal of treating sick and injured people with the utmost compassion and kindness. Driven not by money, nor fame, nor title nor accolade, Dr. Salem treated thousands of patients on a yearly basis with an incredible capacity to remember each and every patient on a first-name basis and treat every patient as though they were his family.

Overall, Dr. Salem had a worldview rooted in Justice and believed that the Scales of Justice would eventually tip in favor of the poor, the oppressed, the downtrodden, the sick and the weak. He had an Immense Faith in God and believed that a person's faith in God could give them wings. Humble yet proud, kind yet just, bold yet respectful, Dr. Salem new no bounds and yet, all the meanwhile knew All the Bounds.
